Strathmore

Miramar and Strathmore are the ideal suburbs for families and sports enthusiasts – with plenty of playing grounds, primary schools, and shopping centres (with some influence from the significant local Greek/Turkish community).  Miramar has several excellent cafés, including Eva Dixon and Edward Jones (with Soprano’s Pizza next door).

Wellington’s leading private boys’ secondary school, Scots College, is in Strathmore.
